Carrie

Carrie is both a teacher and the owner of Avea Pilates. Carrie is passionate about health and nutrition, and enjoyed completing multiple 1/2 Marathon and Marathon races in destinations including Paris, Hawaii and Kenya! Carrie’s style blends both Classical and Contemporary Pilates and she holds multiple certifications supporting her teaching in both. Carrie is grateful that Pilates is part of her life and loves helping clients experience a greater sense of well-being through her classes.

Tamara has been dancing since the age of 3 and has always combined this with her love of health and fitness. Having been involved with Pilates from a young age, she completed her training at Elixr, School of Pilates in Australia, and has been teaching reformer classes while training as a dancer in New York City. Her classes are fast paced and high energy with a strong focus on core. While she offers a lighthearted vibe, her classes are also challenging,

Huma's career as an accountant (she holds a Masters in Economics and Statistics) prepared her for the constant learning mindset of teaching Pilates, where she now holds equally impressive advanced qualifications. Huma is passionate and brings a fun approach to her teaching style. Huma believes in living every moment to the full through the ups and downs of life. Consistent Efforts and Patience leads to great success. Her life motto is “Do Your Best & Never Give Up”.

Greg

Gregory has been teaching pilates for 7 Years and loves challenging his clients in both mind and body. He believes changing your perspective from “I can’t” to “I can”, changes your life inside and out. The point failure becomes your friend, is the point you grow. Greg has lived many lives, singing and dancing all over the world, caregiving, and even filming fitness infomercials. He is most grateful for this life - the one he is living fullout today. Greg holds multiple fitness certifications and enjoys teaching HIIT classes and personal training. Greg is very passionate about everything he does and gets super excited when he sees growth in his clients.

Lauren

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Lauren found her passion for wellness through a NYC 9 to 5 desk job. Lauren focuses on re-balancing the body, lengthening, and toning the muscles. Her classes cater to every fitness level, age, and gender so that everyone can join in and take home the invaluable benefits that she discovered. "Your body is your biggest investment; you can only have one, make it the best it can be."

Madeline

Madeline is originally from Venice Beach California. Her fitness roots are in gymnastics, modern dance and ballet. After moving to New York and earning a BA at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, Madeline became certified in Pilates through the Art of Control with Simona Cipriani and the Real Pilates training program with Alycea Ungaro. She delivers classes that strives to make her clients laugh, sweat and use their brains to build their own mind body connection to use in real life.

Pamela

Pamela has always believed that health and wellness are integral parts of a person’s inner and outer beauty. Pamela fell in love with Pilates almost 14 years ago after the birth of her first son. Pilates has been instrumental in helping Pamela recover from knee surgery. As a trainer, Pamela loves to help people feel connected to their mind and body through breathing, lengthening and toning exercises. Pamela finds it rewarding to train clients of all ages whether they are beginners to more advanced Pilates enthusiasts.

Kayla was born and raised in Los Angeles, and grew up a ballet dancer. After completing undergrad and grad school at USC she was attracted by the energy, passion and vibrancy of New York City and the East Village. She loves to share her passion for movement and the arts with her clients through Pilates, and is continuing to pursue her work as an actor and writer.

Sabrina

Sabrina uses the Pilates method and her personal commitment to health and body empowerment to help clients build a strong body and "better version of you!" Her favorite quote is "Pilates is for Every-Body!" Sabrina was first introduced to the Pilates method as a college sophomore which helped her achieve a weight loss of 50lbs. Sabrina's mission is to help others feel healthy, strong and beautiful. Sabrina loves making Pilates both healthy and enjoyable for all.
